TBN's Acquisition Of 'Holy Land Experience' Theme Park Seeks To Change More Lives

June 9, 2007 ORLANDO -- Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the world's largest religious broadcaster and America's most-watched faith channel, hopes to change more lives through its addition of the "Holy Land Experience" theme park in Orlando, Fl., to the TBN family. Through the acquisition, TBN will bring an integration of the powerful living recreation of ancient Jerusalem with a cutting edge facility that will be used for television production, dramas, musical concerts, special events and movies.

"This marriage will bring an unprecedented synergy to both ministries and the production that is done there will be seen by a worldwide audience. TBN's involvement made sense, because both ministries are about changing and effecting people's lives. We've been doing that for 34 years," said Paul Crouch, Jr., TBN Vice President of Administration. "We believe this opportunity was heaven sent because it bought TBN an Orlando-based facility to fulfill it's local programming obligations for WGTL CH-52 and it will provide "The Holy Land Experience" with much needed promotion to bring more people to the theme park and Orlando as a whole."

The Holy Land Experience could well be considered Orlando's most inspiring destination as visitors experience a full day of discovery that takes them 2,000 years back in time to the world of the Bible. It brings to life ancient Israel as a unique, thriving world filled with fascinating exhibits and venues. Visitors learn about the Wilderness Tabernacle and the Great Temple; discover the amazing history of the Bible; explore the city of Jerusalem in miniature; see re-enactments of Jesus' ministry, His life, death, and resurrection; and feel the power and passion of our original musical productions.

WGTL TV, Channel 52, has a reach of over four million viewers in the Orlando and Cocoa Beach metropolitan areas with TBN's wide range of innovative faith-based programming. In October of 2006, TBN celebrated the inaugural broadcast of WGTL Ch-52 in Orlando with a dedicatory service attended by TBN founders Paul and Jan Crouch, Pastor Benny Hinn, Singer and Preacher Judy Jacobs hosted by Pastor George Cope and Calvary Assembly in Winter Park, Fl.

The combination of the production facilities and the Holy Land Experience offers Orlando visitors a powerful and unique faith based experience that can be promoted worldwide through the TBN network. The promotional capability can drive visitors to the complex.

"Some of the staff was asking what is going to be the immediate effect here at the park and my answer was 'I'm planning on you having more people coming through the turnstiles this summer,'" said Crouch. "Universal Studios does the same thing. We want the 'Holy Land Experience' to be a faith-based version of that."

WDC Media Achieves Success As Pioneer In Impacting Mainstream Media With Faith-Based Message

2007-01-06 -- WDC Media News -- By Michelle Bertello, USA Religious News (Los Angeles, CA)-- With catchy phrases like “PR with a Higher Purpose” and “Kingdom Impact in the 21st Century,” it’s not surprising that what was once a virtual impossibility for those with religious content is now a genuine reality—impacting the mainstream media with value-based messages from faith-based organizations, businesses and ministry leaders. At the forefront of this media-rich-turnaround is the nation’s fastest growing public relations firm, “WDC Media,” a Christian media firm specializing in dynamic news crossovers. Although now a thriving force in the media world, the road to success did not come easy for WDC Media. “Convincing religious leaders about crossing their message over as news was a real challenge when the agency was first founded in 2003,” says Susan Zahn, President/CEO of WDC Media. “I walked by faith and not by sight.” Faith appears to a have paid off for Zahn in a big way… WDC’s client roaster includes, Trinity Broadcasting Network, founded by Paul and Jan Crouch; First amendment attorney and media personality, Jay Sekulow, host of Jay Sekulow Live and ACLJ This Week; popular life-coach, TV host (Paula White Today), turned author Pastor Paula White (co-pastor of Without Walls International Church) and the worlds largest interactive Christian website "LivePrayer.com" and its spin-off syndicated TV show "Live Prayer with Bill Keller"--to name but a few. The firm is also associated with a dozen inspirational films, including: “One Night With The King”, “I Flunked Sunday School”, “Hidden Secrets”, “Six: The Mark Unleashed”, "Home Beyond the Sun" and “STING: Moment of Truth” (complete list at www.wdcmedia.com). “WDC understands the importance of knowing how to talk to the media and the general public,” says Zahn “Our team identifies media-opportunities for our clients and frames each item as a news story which results in positive media coverage. We don’t sit-around and wait for news to happen, we drive a story out there and create news streams where none existed before." Krystal Collazo, a senior publicist with WDC, says, "Our firms core mission is to spread the message of God’s love using a positive Christian public and media relations model. We are successfully impacting the media for the glory of God through our clients." In addition to Zahn and Collazo, WDC’s key telecommuter staff includes two other publicists, several professional writers, a senior editor, an online news syndication manager and support staff (PR assistants). WDC Media is also unique in that professionalism, faith and technology are mixed to launch powerful outcomes for clients. “We utilizes cutting edge technology to manage our clients cases in real time through our interactive online office and state of the art distributing technology to drive out our clients important news, 24/7,” says Zahn. "How WDC has evolved is nothing short of supernatural. "It has God’s hand-print written all over it. We are a channel that the Holy Spirit is raising up in these last days to reach the lost through mediums they can relate to—News, TV, Motion Pictures, Books and Music. It’s about His Glory, not ours.”
