TBN's Acquisition Of 'Holy Land Experience' Theme Park Seeks To Change More Lives

June 9, 2007 ORLANDO -- Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the world's largest religious broadcaster and America's most-watched faith channel, hopes to change more lives through its addition of the "Holy Land Experience" theme park in Orlando, Fl., to the TBN family. Through the acquisition, TBN will bring an integration of the powerful living recreation of ancient Jerusalem with a cutting edge facility that will be used for television production, dramas, musical concerts, special events and movies.

"This marriage will bring an unprecedented synergy to both ministries and the production that is done there will be seen by a worldwide audience. TBN's involvement made sense, because both ministries are about changing and effecting people's lives. We've been doing that for 34 years," said Paul Crouch, Jr., TBN Vice President of Administration. "We believe this opportunity was heaven sent because it bought TBN an Orlando-based facility to fulfill it's local programming obligations for WGTL CH-52 and it will provide "The Holy Land Experience" with much needed promotion to bring more people to the theme park and Orlando as a whole."

The Holy Land Experience could well be considered Orlando's most inspiring destination as visitors experience a full day of discovery that takes them 2,000 years back in time to the world of the Bible. It brings to life ancient Israel as a unique, thriving world filled with fascinating exhibits and venues. Visitors learn about the Wilderness Tabernacle and the Great Temple; discover the amazing history of the Bible; explore the city of Jerusalem in miniature; see re-enactments of Jesus' ministry, His life, death, and resurrection; and feel the power and passion of our original musical productions.

WGTL TV, Channel 52, has a reach of over four million viewers in the Orlando and Cocoa Beach metropolitan areas with TBN's wide range of innovative faith-based programming. In October of 2006, TBN celebrated the inaugural broadcast of WGTL Ch-52 in Orlando with a dedicatory service attended by TBN founders Paul and Jan Crouch, Pastor Benny Hinn, Singer and Preacher Judy Jacobs hosted by Pastor George Cope and Calvary Assembly in Winter Park, Fl.

The combination of the production facilities and the Holy Land Experience offers Orlando visitors a powerful and unique faith based experience that can be promoted worldwide through the TBN network. The promotional capability can drive visitors to the complex.

"Some of the staff was asking what is going to be the immediate effect here at the park and my answer was 'I'm planning on you having more people coming through the turnstiles this summer,'" said Crouch. "Universal Studios does the same thing. We want the 'Holy Land Experience' to be a faith-based version of that."

Virginia Author John Michael Forosisky Shares His Amazing Spiritual Journey in a Passionate New Book, Passengerıs Side

By Dave Bohon

2006-01-25 -- WDC Media News -- Williamsburg, VA -- With clarity and absolute heart, local writer John Michael Forosiskyıs new book, Passengerıs Side: Putting Jesus Christ in Charge of your Life (Trafford Publishing), recounts the authorıs personal journey into a richly fulfilling, spiritual life. His passion, says Forosisky, was fostered through the realization of a profound secret: the understanding that surrendering control of his life to God would lead him to perfect peace. "Too many people try to live out their faith while keeping their hands firmly on the controls of their lives," explained the writer. "I discovered through painful, firsthand experience that this is almost always a recipe for total frustration, and potential disaster. I wanted to share my journey of stepping into freedom, and invite readers to join me in a lifelong adventure embraced by the joy of spiritual living." Forosisky is part of a new breed of faith-based writers who use their own experiences as believers to offer readers a simple message of strengthening and reconnecting with God, transcendent peace, restoration and, ultimately, spiritual fulfillment. His book a kind of manual for living written out of his intense need for an intimate relationship with God celebrates with readers worldwide, the joy that comes from learning to fully love, making godly choices, and living each day in the miraculous. "I really believe that in this day and age of complex and conflicting information coming at us from every direction, the more potential there is for people to completely miss what it is they really need in their lives, and end up starved for spiritual nourishment," said the first-time author. ³In contrast, I hope the simply presented, unadorned message in my book will inspire thousands to begin the ride of their life for the rest of their lives on the passenger’s side." Forosisky, who lives in Williamsburg with his wife Kristina, and son Frank, spent nearly 20 years in the fast-paced business world before being compelled by God to turn his heart, and all his efforts, toward bringing his message, with simplicity, to those in search of inner peace. Today the author is represented by WDC Media the nationıs most innovative and passionate, faith-based public relations firm. ³John speaks with real vision about the freedom available to those of us who fully put our trust in God,² said Dave Bohon, an expert in faith-based publications, and vice-president of WDC Media. ³We are thrilled to represent someone who writes with such grace about finding perfect peace within. Johnıs work is sure to be instrumental in guiding believers and seekers around the globe out of the gloom of darkness, and into the shimmering light.² A refreshing new southern voice, Forosisky hopes to show readers how, at the end of their path to spiritual renewal, lies the greatest treasure...beyond what they could ever have imagined or hoped for.
